Cross-Layer Design and Performance Optimization of Multi-Channel Multi-Interface Wireless Mesh Networks
26 October 2012, by Carina Teixeira de OliveiraIn this PhD thesis, we focus on the design and performance optimization of multi-channel multi-interface wireless mesh networks. To take advantage of the increased capacity in such networks, a number of issues has to be handled properly. The first contribution of this thesis is a novel classification and formal evaluation of different channel and interface assignment strategies. In particular, we focus on connectivity in terms of topology formation, density of connections, and neighbor (...)

12 March 2013, by Etienne DubléI am a Research Engineer at the LIG laboratory, working with several Research teams. Lately, I have been mainly working with: Drakkar Steamer Slide I got a master degree of computer science at the french "Grande école" ISIMA in 2002. Then I have been working for the industry at Vertech’ until 2008. At this time I was hired by the CNRS, with a position at UREC and then at LIG.
My work is mostly about ambiant intelligence. I authored several open source tools (debootstick, ipv6 care, (...) -
