LIG Laboratory, Drakkar group invites applications for a Post-Doc position (12 months):

Capture-based MAC for Wireless Sensor Networks

The objective of this project is to investigate the capture effect in which one station can correctly receive a frame in spite of a collision. This understanding should be then used to design a MAC access method that takes advantage of the capture effect.

Applicants should have experience/knowledge in the following research areas:
– Digital transmission and modulation
– Network protocols
– Network simulation

The applicant will be hired by Grenoble INP.

Salary: 2968 euros gross. (Note: The net amount after the standard pension,
health care, and tax withholding amounts is typically 0.8 times the gross
salary.)
