LIG Laboratory, Drakkar group invites applications for a Research Engineer position (12 months):

Scalability and Distributed Control of Network Controllers

The objective of this project is to validate the scalability of the Network Controller by Mancala Networks and develop protocols for distributed operation of a large number of such devices.

The applicant will be hired by INPG Entreprise SA, a private subsidiary of Grenoble Institute of Technology and will work in collaboration with Mancala Networks under supervision of the LIG/Drakkar team.

Applicants should have experience/knowledge in the following research areas:
– Network and security protocols
– Distributed systems
– Network simulation

Technical competence:
– Unix systems development
– C/C++ programming

Salary: starting from 2500 euros/month gross depending on the technical competence. (Note: The
net amount after the standard pension, health care, and tax withholding amounts is typically 0.8
times the gross salary.)
