Développement d’une Architecture de Réseau intégré
SAFARI set out to design, combine and build the protocol and software infrastructure needed for transparent access, automatic configuration, integration and adaptation of services over an ad hoc IPv6 network that also includes wired access. Its contribution was the design of novel protocol and software solutions, built on established standards (IPv6, multicast, application proxies, programmable networks, and others), able to cope with change both in the network infrastructure and in the availability and continuity of services.
